On 29 April, 2015, Lela Bakradze, Head of Georgian Office of United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and Giorgi (Gegi) Mataradze, Program analyst, visited Tbilisi State Medical University. The guests met with Professor Zurab Vadachkoria, TSMU Rector; Prof. Kakhaber Chelidze, Vice-Rector and Prof. Zaza Bokhua, Director of the TSMU Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Continuing Professional Development. Discussion was focused on the projects that are carried out under the auspices of the United Nations Population Fund in Georgia and involvement of Tbilisi State Medical University in these projects. Memorandum of Cooperation was signed. The future plans, one direction of which is collaboration on  postgraduate education, were outlined
