On May 3-10, 2015, within MEVLANA academic exchange program Professor Irma Manjavidze,  Director of  TSMU Center of  Clinical Skills visited Ondokuz Mayıs University (Turkey) to deliver the lectures.

The lectures were devoted to the basic principles of bioethics and research in Pediatrics. The lectures were attended by residents, young specialists and the staff of TSMU Department of Pediatrics.

The experience of  TSMU Center of Clinical skills in using  simulations in medical education as well as proceedings of objective structured clinical examination aroused  a great interest of academic staff and Department of Medical Education of Ondokuz Mayıs University.

Prof. Irma Manjavidze attended the fourth-year exams in pediatrics at the Faculty of Medicine. During the meeting with Professors of the Department of Pediatrics – Dr. Prof. Gönül Ogur, Specialist of Medical Genetics; Prof. Ayhan Dagdemir, Head of Direction of Pediatric Oncology; and Assistant professor Akan Karakus, they discussed the prospects of cooperation between the universities.
