Presentation of Training Films

At the initiative of Prof. Teimuraz Silagadze, TSMU Department of Psychiatry and Narcology (Psychiatry direction) and support of "Open Society Georgia Foundation", the training films based on real visual components, with participation of the students of Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film Georgia State University, have been made. On May 19, 2015, presentation of the films was arranged at TSMU First University Clinic.The presentation was attended by: Professor Zurab Vadachkoria Rector of Tsmu, Associate Professor Gogi Todadze, Drama and Film Actors Direction at Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film Georgia State University, participating students and specialists of psychiatry and other medical fields.

At present, 15 training films, based on real anamneses, various forms and courses of psychiatric diseases have been made. Prof.Zurab Vadachkoria Rector of TSMU expressed his gratefulness to the guests for their interest and support. He spoke  about the importance of training-films and  development of future relations and partnership between Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film Georgia State University and TSMU.

“The training- films based on real visual components will complete factual knowledge of the students” - said Professor Teimuraz Silagadze. Associate Professor George Todadze highly appreciated the films. According to him, this was an important experience for future actors and a very interesting project, implemented in the field of education.
