Giorgi Abesadze, TSMU Vice Rector Visited Iran

On May 17-19, 2015 Giorgi Abesadze, Vice-Rector of TSMU visited Tehran (Islamic Republic of Iran) to participate in the V meeting of inter-Governmental Economic Commission of Georgia and Iran. In addition to the other issues discussed at the meeting, the ones concerning to the University and scientific cooperation between the two countries were  reflected in the protocol. The academic and University representatives of Georgian delegation met with Mojtaba Shariaty-Niasar, Vice-Minister of Science, Research and Information Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran; Ali Morteza Birang, Deputy of International Affairs and Technology Exchange, Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology; and  Mohammad Mehdi Tehranchi Rector of Shahid Beheshti University (SBU). Together with the other members of delegation, George Abesadze, Vice-Rector of TSMU visited the Technology Park, where is represented the latest achievements of  the Islamic Republic of Iran in various fields of science and technology. He participated in the event, dedicated to the twinning ceremony of the cities -Tbilisi and Tehran. He also attended the signing ceremony of twinning agreement by the Mayors of Tbilisi and Tehran.
