The International University Hospital will be opened in Batumi. On June 1, 2015, TSMU was visited by the representatives of the International University Hospital: Turul Tokman Director General, Jan Assange Clinical Director, Teimuraz  Gabaidze Deputy Director and Irakli Takidze Deputy General Director.

They met with Professor Zurab Vadachkoria, Rector of TSMU, Professor Rima Beriashvili Vice-Rector and Professor Zaza Bokhua Director of TSMU Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Continuous Professional Development.  They discussed the future plans and prospects for further cooperation.
