On May 30, 2015,  15  pupils from ninth grade of  #147 public school  and  5 pupils from ninth grade of # 85 public school  visited TSMU in terms of their future professional interests. The pupils saw TSMU Department of Molecular and Medical Genetics,  Museum and TSMU Center of Clinical Skills  with great interest. The visit of the pupils to TSMU was arranged within the frames of the program started by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia. The mentioned program - “Professional Orientation and Career Planning”, aimed at assisting students to make their professional choice, has been implemented since 2013 by the  Mandatory Service of the  Ministry of Education and Science. The meetings with representatives of various fields in order to receive more information about professions were held within the program. Currently, the program runs in  a pilot mode where IX grade  pupils of  477 public schools are actively involved.
