Training of the Students of Poznan University of Medical Sciences at TSMU clinics

From 5 to 19 July  2015,  8 students Poznan University of Medical Sciences (Poland) passed the clinical training course at TSMU Clinics  and its partner Clinics : TSMU Aladashvili # 1 University Clinic and a Dental Clinic, Training and Research Center “Unident”. Bilateral exchange program with leading medical university of Poland, organized by TSMU Students and Alumni Relations Office and  supported by Department of International Affairs has been held  since 2013. The number of students, participating in the program, is growing every year. This year 8 students of TSMU Faculty of Medicine and 2 students of TSMU Faculty of Stomatology visited Poland to pass the clinical training course.

On July 18, 2015, Prof. Zurab Vadachkoria Rector of TSMU held a meeting with Polish students participating in this program. The meeting was attended by:  Prof. Rima Beriashvili Vice-Rector,  Professor Tinatin Chikovani, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Professor Samson Mghebrishvili Dean of the Faculty of Stomatology, Prof. Ia Avaliani, Head of the Department of  International Affairs, Giga Sordia Head of  TSMU Students and Alumni Relations Office and Gogi Chikovani Chief Specialist. 

TSMU Rector expressed his thankfulness to the students for participation in this program, stressed importance of the mentioned program and expressed readiness for further cooperation. The students expressed their gratitude to the Administration of host University for highly organized training courses and warm welcome. They positively assessed the professionalism of Georgian physicians and high standards of teaching in University Clinics. At the end of the meeting, the students were awarded the certificates and pleasant souvenirs.
