On 3 August 2015, 20th anniversary-meeting of Diabetic Children’s Educational Camp, organized by the international humanitarian organization “Acts Georgia” and TSMU was held at the Administrative Building of TSMU. It should be emphasized, that since 1995 the international humanitarian organization "ACTS Georgia" and TSMU have organized educational-therapeutic camping for children with diabetes. To this end, 50 children with diabetes were sent to Kvareli, where they will attend training seminars. It should be noticed that together with American doctors, Lika Kacharava - TSMU graduate will provide medical consultations for the children participating in the camp. The event was attended by: Nicholas Berlinel acting Ambassador of the United States to Georgia, Patricia Blair, founder and director of the international humanitarian organization “Acts-Georgia”, Zviad Katsashvili Director of Emergency Situations Management Agency at Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Zurab Orjonikidze Chancellor of TSMU, Guram Amiridze Vice President of "ACTS Georgia", representatives of US Embassy to Georgia and MoH of Georgia, American and Georgian doctors, diabetic children and their parents. The organizers and participants of the event spoke about 20-year history, development and importance of “Diabetic Children's educational camp of Georgia". Participants remembered and honored the memory of Ronald James and Koba Koplatadze for the contribution made in development of “Diabetic Children's educational camp of Georgia".
