On the 24th of September, 2015, David Sergeenko Minister of Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia, Mrs. Natia Nogaideli Head of the Department of Sectoral Regulations,  Mr. Paata Bukia Head of the Department of Professional Regulation at the State Regulation Agency for Medical Activities were welcomed by Prof. Zurab Vadachkoria, Rector, students and graduates of TSMU as well as the representatives of TSMU academic staff.

At  the meeting, David Sergeenko noted that very often he had a role of presenter and audience listened to him, this time, he wanted to hear the students his Alma Mater University where he passed 6-year course, discuss ongoing reforms  with them and the issues of concern. The meeting was carried out in a very warm and positive atmosphere of cooperation and compromise. The students focused on important issues. Minister listened to every note of academic staff and students concerning to the issues of undergraduate and postgraduate medical education or legislative base with great interest.The guests answered every questions of the audience.

At the end of the meeting, according to the decision of TSMU students, Professor Zurab Vadachkoria, Rector of TSMU handed David Sergeenko a symbolic gift - white coat with symbols of Tbilisi State Medical University. Minister willingly put on the coat with Alma Mater symbols and took photos with the students.
