Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation (SRNSF) together with 18 organizations of the European Union and Eastern Partnership countries participates in IncoNet EaP project (“International Cooperation Network of Science, Technology and Innovation of Eastern Partnership  (EaP) countries”) funded under the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) of the European Union's Research and Development.

On September 25, 2015,  Information Day dedicated to this project and organized by Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation was held at Tbilisi State Medical University. The guests were greeted by:  Prof. Marine Chitashvili Director General of Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation, Giorgi Shervashidze Deputy Minister of Education and Science  of Georgia  and Prof.  Zurab Vadachkoria Rector of TSMU. 

The event was focused on the following: review of EU Research and Innovation Framework Programme for Research and Innovation Horizon 2020 (funding opportunities, international cooperation); participation of Georgia in EU Framework Programme ; promotion of international cooperation in research and development programs. There were held two parallel thematic sessions on health issues, climate changing and energetics.
