On 4-10th of October, 2015, Nino kandelakit, M.D., Ph.D., Chief Specialist of TSMU Department of  International Affairs was invited by the American-Austrian Foundation and Open Society Georgia Foundation to participate in Salzburg Medical Seminar "Medical Education".

The seminar was conducted by the well-known American specialists of medical education: Prof. Stephen Ludwig, MD, medical director of International Medical Education at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and professor of pediatrics and emergency medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvani and Dr.Wolfgang Aulitzky, Medical Director of the American Austrian Foundation. The lectures were devoted to the following topics: “Medical Education Strategy", "Characteristics of good mentor", "Using Simulations and Standardized Patients in Medical Education", ,,Assessment Principles in Medical Education", "Individual and institutional mentoring principles". Nino Kandelaki delivered a sample lecture in the  presence of international experts and passed the necessary tests.
