On October 29, Professor ZurabVadachkoria, Rector of TSMU met with the fifth and sixth semester students of TSMU.

Rector of TSMU  talked about traditions, study process, tuition fees, financial matters and future plans of TSMU in details. Rector informed the students about the current infrastructural- rehabilitation works at TSMU.  He noted that due to the need in emergency repairs of the building of the Faculty of Pharmacy on №22 Akhvlediani str., the Faculty will continue to operate in the "A" wing of the second study block until the fourth study block of TSMU will be built.

Rector answered all the questions risen by the students and noted that now on the students will be able to apply to the TSMU Public Relations Department for any suggestions, after which the information will be introduced to the Rector for appropriate response noting that after previous meeting a number of issues have been settled, namely: additional 30 "laptops" were roomed at the University library, free Wi-Fi access in campus yard, improved WC problems,  work on the canteen project in the first building is launched.

The meeting was attended by Prof. Zurab Orjonikidze Chancellor of Tbilisi State Medical University, Vice-Rectors: Prof. Rima Beriashvili,  Prof.Khatuna Todadze and George Abesadze; Prof.Irine Kvachadze Head of Quality Assurance Department,  Deans of TSMU Faculties, academic and administrative staff. Actually, such meetings can not help to raise and solve every problem but the university administration will continue to meet with the students to become acquainted with their attitudes and concerns respectively. On 2^nd of  November the meeting of  the Rector Prof. Zurab Vadachkoria with  the first and second semester students  of TSMU is scheduled.
