On the 10th of November, 2015, the representatives of Recep Tayyip Erdogan University (Rize, Turkey): Associate Professor Ozlem Bilir Head of emergency direction at the Faculty of Medicine; Gokhan Ersunan Associate Professor of the same direction and Associate Professor Harun Chimke head of the specialty of Georgian language and literature at the Faculty of Literature and Natural Sciences visited Tbilisi State Medical University.

The guests met with: Professor Zurab Vadachkoria Rector of TSMU; Professor Khatuna Todadze Vice-Rector; Prof. David Delibashvili, Head of TSMU International Department and Deputy Heads of the same Department: Irina Kapetivadze and Nino Aptsiauri; Irakli Kokhreidze General Director of TSMU First University Clinic; Giorgi Beriashvili Reanimatologist  and Head of Emergency Medicine Department at the same Clinic; Pikria Lursmanashvili Reanimatologist Head of  Emergency and Ambulatory Services at TSMU Givi Zhvania Pediatric Academic Clinic and Associate Professor Gulnara Kiliptar department of Anesthesiology and Reanimatology, direction of anesthesiology, reanimatology and toxicology.  According to the representatives of Recep Tayyip Erdogan University, with TSMU they have very interesting and fruitful long-term partnership. They expressed a strong desire to hold the joint Symposium of TSMU and Recep Tayyip Erdogan University on “Emergency Assistance” in Georgia in 2016. The Symposia on the same issues have been held in Azerbaijan, Bosnia, Mongolia, Saudi Arabia and other countries.  Within the frames of the  symposium, practitioner specialists and qualified scientists of Emergency Medical will visit Georgia and Tbilisi State Medical University. On behalf of Tbilisi State Medical University Professor Zurab Vadachkoria, Rector of TSMU expressed readiness to contribute to the arrangement of this symposium and development of further cooperation between the two universities.
