On November 23, 2015, the  Asia-Pacific medical and healthcare forum, jointly organized by "Gusi Peace Prize" Foundation and the Philippine Medical Association, was held in Manila (Philippines) where Professor Zurab Vadachkoria, Rector of TSMU  delivered a public lecture on the topic: "Study of  Cleft Lip and Palate in  Children:  Georgia  Country Profile".

During the lecture Prof. Zurab Vadachkoria, Head of the Georgian  National Center of  Treatment and Rehabilitation of Children with Congenital Maxilla-Facial Malformations, focused on the activities of the Center, modern methods for treatment of maxillofacial anomalies, terms of surgery and the issues of speech postoperative recovery. Prof. Zurab Vadachkoria paid a special attention to the internationalization of medical education and other key priorities for development of Tbilisi State Medical University. The lecture aroused extremely great interest. Prof. Zurab Vadachkoria was awarded a special "Certificate of Appreciation" for sharing knowledge and experience.
