On the 4th of December, 2015, a teleconference between the students of TSMU Faculty of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the students of the same Faulty of the University of Scranton (US) was held at Tbilisi State Medical University. The representatives of the University of Scranton represented a clinical case – “Modern methods of management in rehabilitation of post-concussion of the brain syndrome" under the supervision of Prof. John Sanko.
In the discussion session arranged after the presentation both students and academic staff from both sides were actively involved. The students broaden their knowledge regarding to modern technologies and equipment application in neurorehabilitation.
The event was highly appreciated by the academic staff of the Departments of Physical Medicine of both Universities. They expressed their willingness to continue fruitful cooperation and planned arrangement of the next teleconference, where a clinical case of TSMU students will be represented.
