On January 12, 2016, Dr. Sebastian Kawczynski, President of "Strike Plagiarism” (Poland) and Ali Takhmazov Regional Manager of the same company visited Tbilisi State Medical University and gave the presentation on “Plagiarism in Higher EducatAion”.

Dr. Sebastian Kawczynski spoke about the most common forms of plagiarism including copy-paste and uncontrolled use of information obtained on the Internet at higher educational institutions within the frames of learning process and scientific works. He introduced the principles for operation of antiplagiarism program to the attendees.

The presentation was attended by : Prof. Khatuna Todadze and Prof. Rima Beriashvili Vice-Rectors of TSMU, Prof. Irine Kvachadze Head of Quality Assurance Department, Prof. Luiza Gabunia Director of Scientific Skills Center, Nino Aptsiauri, Deputy Head of International Affairs Department, Alexander Buachidze Deputy Chancellor, Gogi Donadze, Head of  IT Department and David Gvasalia, Head of Software services.
