On February 2, 2016, Prof. Zurab Vadachkoria, Rector of Tbilisi State Medical University met with H.E. Mr. Suresh Babu Thadipaneni  Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of India to Armenia and Georgia.  The meeting was attended by: Prof. Rima Beriashvili Vice-Rector, Prof. Khatuna Todadze Vice-Rector, Prof. Tinatin Chikovani, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. David Topuria Head of the Department of Overseas Students Education, Prof. David Delibashvili Doctor of Medicine, Head of International Affairs Department, Irina Kapetivadze Deputy Head of the same Department. The sides talked about the centuries-old traditions of the University, its collaboration with leading universities of the world,  ongoing joint projects, new educational and international programs, university clinics and clinical bases, as well as their involvement in various educational projects and cultural activities. The development of further fruitful cooperation was planned.
