Exchange of Experiences and Cooperation with Great Britain

From June 18 to July 1, 2016, within the frames of Erasmus + International Credit Mobility Project, Professor Rima Beriashvili, Vice-Rector of Tbilisi State Medical University was on a visit to the University of Chester, (UK).  The main purpose of the business trip was to share experiences of British colleagues and be acquainted with the work of the administration at the University of Chester, as one of the traditional and leading higher educational institution in the UK. During the business trip Professor Rima Beriashvili met with Canon Prof. Tim Wheeler Vice-Chancellor of Chester University, Prof. Anna Sutton, Director of University Center Shrewsbury; pro Vice-Chancellors, Deans, staff of HR Department  and the representatives of Students’ service sectors. At the meetings, besides sharing experiences, the sides discussed the prospects of future cooperation and implementation of joint research projects. On June 28, at University Center Shrewsbury British colleagues arranged an extraordinary meeting where Prof. Rima Beriashvili made a presentation about the history, traditions and achievements of Tbilisi State Medical University and our country as a whole.
