On September 22, 2016, at Tbilisi State Medical University,   Prof. Dr. med. Thomas Eichhorn, Honorary Doctor of TSMU, Head of the Department of ENT Diseases, Head and Neck Surgery at Carl Thiem Hospital Cottbus (Germany)  met with  Prof. Zurab Vadachkoria, Rector of TSMU, Prof. Rima Beriashvili Vice-Rector, Prof. Tinatin Chikovani Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Prof. Nino Abralava Director of TSMU Center of Foreign Languages. At the meeting the sides discussed the issues of post-graduate education, professional development and collaboration between Georgia and Germany in the field of education.
