On October 19, 2016, the  delegation of Xinjiang Medical University (China) including: Vice-Presidents of the University Clinic- Dr.Paerhati- Baiheti and Dr.Muhuyati  as well as the representatives of the Clinic – Yang Ping, Xiu Yan, Yang Yining and Muladier-Duolikun, visited  the  Tbilisi State Medical University.

The delegation met with the representatives of the Tbilisi State Medical University: Prof. ZurabVadachkoria, Rector of TSMU;  Vice-Rectors: Prof. Khatuna Todadze, Prof. Rima Beriashvili, Associate Professor Irakli Kokhreidze; Gia Abesadze, Director General of TSMU First University Clinic and David Delibashvili Head of International Affairs Department at Tbilisi State Medical University.

The guests talked about the health care system in China, Xinjiang Medical University and the University Hospital and were briefed on the Tbilisi State Medical University and the University Hospital. According to the delegation, the purpose of their visit was development of close relationships between Xinjiang Medical University and Tbilisi State Medical University in the fields of education, research and hospital management.  They visited and highly appreciated the  TSMU First University Clinic. Mr. Paerhati- Baiheti invited the delegation of Tbilisi State Medical University to China. After the meeting Mr. Paerhati- Baiheti handed the Chinese symbolic gift to Prof. Zurab Vadachkoria Rector of Tbilisi State Medical University. Rector of Tbilisi State Medical University also gave the souvenirs, typical for Georgian ethno-culture and symbolic gifts of the Tbilisi State Medical University to the guests.
