Tele-Bridge / Tele-Conference with the University of Scranton

On December 2, 2016, Tele-Conference between the students and academic staff of the Faculty of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation of TSMU and the students and academic staff of the relevant Faculty of the University of  Scranton (US) was held. The clinical case ,,Treatment of  post-concussion visual vertigo by optokinetic training” was presented by the students of Scranton University under the supervision of Dr. John Sanko, Professor of Scranton University.  During the Tele-Bridge a session in the course of the discussions was arranged between the Georgian and American students. The students were given the opportunity to deepen their knowledge in the field of neuro-rehabilitation and share their experiences on the features of modern approaches and methods of rehabilitation in Georgia and the US.  At the end of the Conference some interesting questions were raised.  Tele-Conference was highly appreciated by academic staff and the students from the both sides. They expressed their strong desire to continue the cooperation and outlined plans for the future.
