On December 14, 2016, Tbilisi State Medical University was honored to welcome the French Delegation consisted of:  H.E Pascal Meunier, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to Georgia, Mr. Terry Burte, Attaché for Scientific and University Cooperation, Mr. Jean-Yves Lavoir, Director of the French Institute in Georgia, Prof. Sophie Silvestre, Executive Director of Academy of "UniMan"- Management and Performance, Grenoble/France, Prof. Patrice Silvestre a lecturer, Mariam Tsitlanadze – Jocaille,  Head of International Affairs Department and Prof. Sebastien Jocaille Head of French language course of the program - “Public Health and Management” at TSMU Faculty of Public Health.

The guests have been welcomed by: Professor Zurab Vadachkoria Rector  of TSMU, Vice-Rectors: Prof. Khatuna Todadze, Prof.Rima Beriashvili and Associate Professor Irakli Kokhreidze; Prof. Irakli Mchedlishvili, Dean of the Faculty of  Public Health, Irina Kapetivadze  Deputy Head of International Affairs Department and Nino Kandelaki Chief Specialist of  International Affairs Department, Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator and Assistant-Professor Lasha Mskhiladze Head of Practical skills lab. Professor Zurab Vadachkoria highlighted  the importance of the Joint International Program - “Public Health and Management” provided by Tbilisi State Medical University and UniMan Academy of Management and Performance (France). According to H.E Pascal Meunier, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to Georgia, further development of education and health care are the policy priority directions of France and will provide a full support to the Tbilisi State Medical University. Within the frames of the visit the guests had a meeting with the students of TSMU Faculty of Public Health. As a part of their visit French delegation participated in opening ceremony of the new classrooms at TSMU, equipped according to the modern standards. Next day Professor Sophie Silvestre delivered the lecture on actual issues of management for the students of TSMU Faculty of Public Health.
