On March 20-25, 2017, Prof. Marina Mamaladze Head of TSMU Department of Odontology visited Germany to attend Ultradent's dental CE seminars and master class (hands on) organized by the Dental Corporation “Ultradent”. Such events are regularly organized under the auspice of Ultradent University. The master-class was preceded by the scientific conference, where the latest achievements of clinical endodontics and restorative odontology  were represented. According to Professor Marina Mamaladze, the presentations on the opportunities of new Mosaic restorations and modern Genius endodontic  device appeared to be of great interest. The first is the filling composite of latest generation for restoration of the frontal as well as chewing teeth. The second is developed for reciprocal-rotational processing of dental root canals. The root canal preparations together with Ultradent irrigation systems are precondition for providing the successful endodontic treatment.

During the visit, Professor Marina Mamaladze visited the International Dental Exhibition in Cologne, where participated  many  Dental Corporations. Among the presentations should be distinguished the ones represented by the  following companies: Dentsply, VDW, Dur-Dental, 3-Shape. Professor Marina Mamaladze met the representatives of  different  companies. At the meeting they discussed the opportunities for arranging various activities at TSMU. For example, in May, the representatives of KaVo will visit and arrange seminars and VDW Conference will be held at TSMU;  Micerium spa will introduce its achievements in restorative dentistry  in fall, 2017.
