On April 13-15, 2017, the Gulf Education and Training Exhibition (GETEX 2017) was held in Dubai (the United Arab Emirates), where 130 higher educational institutions from more than 20 countries were represented. At the exhibition, the Tbilisi State Medical University was presented within the  project "Learning in Georgia", initiated by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia. The project is aiming at creation of educational space in our  country on the base of raising educational quality and internationalization. The delegation of Tbilisi State Medical University included: Professor Khatuna Todadze Vice-Rector of TSMU and Irina Kapetivadze Deputy Head of International Affairs Department. Many foreigners were interested in the project and their vast majority were registered on higher educational programs (English medium) suggested by the  Tbilisi State Medical University. The TSMU representatives provided applicants and their parents with information about living conditions in Georgia, as well as the conditions for studying at the university. Information booklets of TSMU were distributed. Participation in the exhibition will significantly increase the awareness of the country's educational system, which will attract more foreigners at the Tbilisi State Medical University.
