Training of foreign students

Every year, on the basis of bilateral agreements, the students of Tbilisi State Medical University (TSMU) are passing training programs at TSMU partner University Clinics and on its side TSMU hosts successful students from the partner universities as well. This year the international students  from Poland (Poznan and Lublin Medical Universities) and Ukraine (Kharkiv and Zaporozhye State Medical Universities) visited TSMU. Polish and Ukrainian students passed the training program at TSMU G.Zhvania Pediatric Academic Clinic. Under the support of Prof. Lia Dzidziguri, General Director of G.Zhvania Pediatric Academic Clinic and supervision of Prof. Manana Zhvania, Head of #1 Department of Pediatrics  Prof. Karaman Phagava, Head of #2 Department of Pediatrics and  Associate Professor Tinatin Kutubidze, Head of Quality Assurance Service of the Clinic, the students were acquainted with working principles and activities of the Clinic, attended examinations, round checks, procedures  and Instrumentation-Laboratory examination processes at the Departments of Therapy, Surgery, Critical Medicine and Emergency services,  by academic personnel of the clinic: Prof. Marine Chikovani, Ketevan Makashvili and other academic staff. The training  course passed at G.Zhvania Pediatric Academic Clinic of TSMU and gained interesting experience will have great impact  on formation and professional development of  the students. At the end of the training course, Professor Rima Beriashvili Vice-Rector of TSMU met with the foreign students. All students were given the relevant certificates.
