2017 International Science and Innovation Festival Ended

 

On October 10, 2017, the International Festival of Science and Innovation 2017 ended with a great event and within the frames of the announced competition the best scholars/scientists of the year as well as the winners of photo contest and student competition in journalism were also revealed and awarded.

This year, for the first time, according to the decision of the Competition Commission,  24 scientists were awarded the Certificates for the contribution made in development of scientific field in Georgia.Certificates of merit for the contribution to development of the field of health sciences were awarded to Vakhtang Mshvildadze, Senior Scientist of I.Kutateladze Institute of Pharmacochemistry, Professor of the University of Quebec (Canada) and scientific research group of TSMU Department of Immunology: Prof. Tinatin Chikovani, Associate Professors: Ia Pantsulaia, Nino Kikodze and Nona Janikashvili.  Alexandre Jejelava,  Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Education and Science of Georgia; Mariam Jashi  Chair of the Education, Science and Culture Committee of the Parliament of Georgia; Davit Narmania, Mayor of Tbilisi; Nino Gachechiladze Deputy Director General of Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation congratulated the winners.
