On September 10, 2018, the meeting of the Authorization Council of higher education institutions was held. The agenda included the issues of awarding authorization to the Tbilisi State Medical University and granting the authority for providing vocational education programs at the Tbilisi State Medical University. The Authorization Council unanimously adopted decision on the full compliance of TSMU with the requirements of authorization standards and awarded authorization to TSMU with the highest scores and also granted Tbilisi State Medical University the authority to provide vocational training programs.
