International Education Exhibition – Georgia 2019

On 22 and 23 February 2019, Tbilisi State Medical University traditionally participated in the International Education Exhibition – Georgia 2019, which was held at the ExpoGeorgia Centre.

The guests of the exhibition had the opportunity to get acquainted with the programmes (Georgian and International) offered by Tbilisi State Medical University (Bachelor’s and Master's) and  get comprehensive information on the study process, student life, career development opportunities and other important issues.

At the dummies/simulators, exhibited and represented by TSMU Clinical Skills and Multidisciplinary Simulation Centre and A.Urushadze Dental Clinic, the visitors had the opportunity to be acquainted with practical work and carry out some manipulations, including: first aid, stop bleeding, injection and a number of other practical activities.

In the space of TSMU, the Student Self-Government has provided interactive games for school children that included issues on natural sciences as well as the ones related to the university as a whole. The winners were given memorable gifts.

This year for the first time the cycle of public lectures was held at the International Education Exhibition, where lecturers of universities talked and discussed about different professions offered by the Universities. Professor Kakhaber Chelidze, Head of the Department of Therapy and Cardiology of TSMU First University Clinic, delivered lecture for prospective students. Professor talked about doctor’s career and introduced its positive and negative sides, the difficulties and problems that the doctor is facing on the way of her/ his professional activities.
