On June 4, 2020 the first practical training in the mode of physical presence (non-distance) was held at the Department of Odontology. The 4th semester students who were in Tbilisi and had desire to have a practice at the innovative Dental Phantom Center defined by the syllabus of the phantom odontology were given opportunity to make manipulations themselves.
Attendance was voluntary. Online learning process was held for those students who had no opportunity to visit the center.
Necessary safety measures and rules were established for the students at the Apollo Urushadze Dental Clinic which is an innovative clinic at the Faculty of Stomatology. Professor Marina Mamaladze, Head of the Odontology Department introduced the protocol of the practical work to the students.
On June 5-6 the same type of practical teaching process will be held for the 3rd semester students.
