Tbilisi State Medical University alumna, anatomic pathologist, Mariam Rusidze was awarded with the Doctoral Degree in Fundamental Sciences by the decision of the Scientific Committee of University Toulouse III-Paul Sabatier (France). The successful student’s dissertation was about "The role of estrogen receptor alpha (ER) nuclear and membrane functions in the reproductive system: vascular development of the placenta and ovarian physiology."
In 2017, Mariam was sent to the University Toulouse III-Paul Sabatier within the framework of the ERASMUS+ exchange programme. Mariam was granted with the Master’s diploma in Natural Sciences on the basis of France National Institute for Health and Medical Research (INSERM) I2MC Laboratory. Later, she was invited by the same institute to study on the doctorate degree. In summer, 2021 Mariam was awarded with additional diploma in the field of Molecular Pathology and in November she was honored with the doctorate degree diploma.
