On May 28, 2022 Tbilisi State Medical University organized open doors day for the university applicants. Special areas for diverse practical and interactive activities provided by the faculties of the TSMU, university clinics, scientific-research institutes, centers and the student self-government were especially interesting for the prospective students. 

The guests had the opportunity to listen to the speech of Prof. Zurab Vadachkoria, the Rector of Tbilisi State Medical University. The rector spoke about high standards of traditional and modern medical education at TSMU, highlighted the quality management system at high-tech clinics (including three multiprofile and three dental clinics) making the medical university more attractive for students oriented on learning and career development. Prof. Zurab Vadachkoria also noted that long and short-term international mobility (Erasmus+, Horizon, Melvana and etc.) programs raise students’ self-confidence and ensure their professional growth. The rector highlighted an increased number of international students from 81 oversea countries who chose Tbilisi State Medical University as their study destination. 

The guests were given opportunity to ask questions and listen to answers from the TSMU Rector, Prof. Zurab Vadachkoria, Vice Rector, Prof. Khatuna Todadze, faculty dean and Maia Gabunia, the Head of the National Assessment and Examinations Center's Exam Process Management Service.
