Within the framework of bilateral agreement between the Tbilisi State Medical University and Medical University of Innsbruck, international student Drexel Julius Jacob underwent clinical internship at TSMU Department of Pediatrics.

Professor Ivane Chkhaidze noted that the international student was given the opportunity to deepen knowledge and improve practical skills. "The student was introduced to the important aspects of pediatrics. He was involved in working with patients. It is our goal - to give the students opportunities to develop practical skills", - said Professor Ivane Chkhaidze.

Student of the Medical University of Innsbruck Drexel Julius Jacob highlighted: “Currently, I am working at the intensive care department. It is an interesting experience for me. I come across diverse medical cases which are discussed later with Georgian doctors. I undergo internship at different clinical departments every week. The experience obtained at Tbilisi State Medical University is very important for my career development”.
