From April 10 till April 21, 2023 within the framework of a joint project between Tbilisi State Medical University and the German Society of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, TSMU was visited by Professor of the University Hospital Oldenburg, Jürgen Seidenberg. The German professor delivered lectures for the TSMU students and residents at the G. Zhvania Pediatric Academic Clinic of Tbilisi State Medical University. 

The professor discussed following issues:

• Upper airway obstruction/ Lower airway obstruction 

• Congenital anomalies of the respiratory system

• Lung function testing Theory/ - Bronchoscopy- Introduction

• Preschool Wheezing/ Chronic cough 

• Pneumonia, Basics

• Dysfunctional respiratory symptoms - incl. habitual cough and VCD (incl. videos)

• Diffuse lung disease incl. 3 cases of Exogen allergic alveolitis

• Cystic fibrosis- Introduction

The lectures were attended by students, residents, academic staff and doctors of the G. Zhvania Pediatric Academic Clinic of Tbilisi State Medical University.
