On June 29-30, 2023 joint international neurosurgical congress “Vascular Experts 2023” was organized in Tbilisi. The event was held by the support of World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies and the Georgia Neurosurgical Society. The congress was opened by TSMU Emeritus and Director of Tbilisi State Medical University and Ingorokva High Medical Technology University Clinic Gocha Ingorokva. 

Tamar Gabunia First Deputy Minister of Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia, Professor Zurab Vadachkoria, Rector of TSMU and Professor Shalva Eliava, President of the congress gave speeches. The congress was attended by the world leading neurosurgeries from Italy, Germany, Austria, Japan etc. The academic staff of the Department of Neurosurgery of Tbilisi State Medical University was actively involved in the congress.
