On November 17, 2023 Tbilisi State Medical University Student Self Government organized an event dedicated to International Students' Day. TSMU students participated in intellectual, sport and music activities organized in the yard of the TSMU campus. Musical bands of international students competed at the end of the event. The evening was closed with a concert.

TSMU Student Self Government was the first to celebrate International Students' Day in Georgia in 2009. International Students' Day was established in 1946 on students' international congress in Prague and it is annually commemorated on November 17.
