On March 21, 2024 Tbilisi State Medical University was visited by Prof. Dr. Ludwig Christian Hinske, Chair of Data Management and Clinical Decision Support at University of Augsburg Medical Center (Germany) and Ketevan Gostamashvili, junior scientist of the same institute. The guests were accompanied by Dr. George Grigolia; MD; Senior surgeon at the Visceral Surgery Department of Furstenfeldbruck Clinic (Germany). 

Professor Irakli Natroshvili, Rector of TSMU, Professor Khatuna Todadze, Vice Rector of TSMU, Assoc. Prof. Irina Kapetivadze Head of Rector’s Office and Assoc. Prof. Tinatin Kilasonia, Head of International Relations Department met the guests. 

Prof. Dr. Ludwig Christian Hinske presented a report about University of Augsburg Medical Center and emphasized innovative approaches in research and teaching. The professor also said, the aim of the visit is to integrate and develop digital medicine programs at TSMU clinics within the framework of the cooperation between the Tbilisi State Medical University and Augsburg Medical Center.
