On April 8-12, 2024, Tbilisi State Medical University was visited by the delegation of the Medical University of Sofia within the framework of Erasmus+ KA 171 credit-mobility. The project involves students and academic staff mobility between the Medical University of Sofia and Tbilisi State Medical University. 

Professor Alexandrina Vodenicharova, Dean of the Faculty of Public Health of the Medical University of Sofia, Professor Antoniya Yanakieva, Department of Health Technology Assessment, Faculty of Public Health of the Medical University of Sofia and Virginia Kostova, Coordinator of the Master’s Programs of the Faculty of Public Health of the Medical University of Sofia met Professor Irakli Natroshvili Rector of TSMU, Associate Professor Marina Tsimakuridze, Dean of the Faculty of Public Health and the academic staff of the Faculty of Public Health. The guests also visited the Clinical Skills and Multidisciplinary Simulations Center of Tbilisi State Medical University. 

The parties outlined further cooperation initiatives within the Erasmus+ KA 171 credit mobility and the development of joint projects in the field of public health.

Professors Alexandrina Vodenicharova and Antoniya Yanakieva conducted lectures for the bachelor’s and master’s students of TSMU.
