On May 16, 2024 representatives of the Groupe Hospitalier Sud Île-de-France (France) visited Tbilisi State Medical University. Dr. Sylvain Diamantis, Head of the Department of Infectious Diseases and Dr. Ekaterine Chakvetadze, Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases Unit and TSMU graduate were hosted by Professor Irakli Natroshvili Rector of Tbilisi State Medical University, Associate Professor Irina Kapetivadze, Head of Rector’s Office and Associate Professor Tinatin Kilasonia, Head of International Relations Department. 

The French guests expressed their interests in developing cooperation with Tbilisi State Medical University in educational and scientific directions. Cooperation involves internships for students and residents of TSMU in the Groupe Hospitalier Sud Île-de-France.
