On May 27-28, 2024 PhD students’ scientific conference was organized at Tbilisi State Medical University. The conference was opened by Professor Irakli Natroshvili, Rector of TSMU.

“PhD students will present outcomes of ongoing and completed research at the conference. I am sure the research articles will be beneficial for everyone. I am pleased to see the TSMU students also attending the conference. I think the event serves as the best example for them – what stages to cover for their professional development,” said the TSMU rector. 

The conference was chaired by Professor Sophia Bakhtadze, Vice-Rector for Science at Tbilisi State Medical University. TSMU PhD students presented both oral and poster presentations. The scientific conference was held in an interactive format, with scientific discussions taking place at the end of each presentation.
