On June 1-2, 2024, the Lion's Eye Diabetic Clinic, the Department of Ophthalmology at Tbilisi State Medical University, and the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, in collaboration with municipal authorities in Zestafoni and Terjola districts, conducted free ophthalmologic and endocrinological examinations for veterans and their families.  65 beneficiaries received the service in Zestafoni. Veterans and members of their families were provided with 174 pairs of optical glasses, 5 glucometers, and 50 spectacle frames free of charge.

A nationwide medical campaign has been conducted since 2023, benefiting 2404 beneficiaries with free ophthalmologic and endocrinologic services. Veterans and members of their families received 2922 glasses free of charge, along with various other microsurgical operations.
