From May 27 to June 3, 2024, Associate Professor Nino Tevzadze the Department of Histology, Cytology, and Embryology and Deputy Director of the American MD Program attended the NAFSA (National Association of International Educators) Expo-Conference held in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA.

The trip was supported by the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia within the framework of the "Study in Georgia" program. The Georgian delegation was represented by nineteen public and private higher education institutions. NAFSA is one of the largest and most prestigious international expos in the field of higher education. This year around 200 organizations participated from more than 100 countries.

“Our participation in the project was quite successful in terms of the internationalization of higher education. We exchanged contact information with several universities, expressing a desire and potential for future collaboration," noted Associate Professor Nino Tevzadze.
