On june 3-7, 2024, Tbilisi State Medical University was visited by Associate Professor of the Izmir Tinaztepe University, Elif Ebru Ermis within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA 171 project. 

During the visit, the Turkish professor conducted lectures for the Tbilisi State Medical University students in radiological biophysics: types and doses of radiation exposure, biological effects of radiation and their mechanisms on bone tissue, and key mechanisms of operation for medical visualization devices.

Associate Professor Elif Ebru Ermis met Associate Professor Tinatin Kilasonia, Head of International Cooperation, Nino Kandelaki, Erasmus + Institutional Coordinator and staff of the Department of Physics, Biophysics, Biomechanics and Information Technologies and Continuous Professional Development Programs of Tbilisi State Medical University. The parties discussed further cooperation activities and strengthening the students’ exchange programs.
