On July 4, 2024, Associate Professor Maia Okujava, Department of Medical Pharmacology and Head of the Quality Assurance Office of the Faculty of Medicine of Tbilisi State Medical university visited Brussel and attended the event - EURESTOP Working Groups Meeting, organized by the COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology).

The meeting was held within the framework of the European network project for the diagnosis and treatment of antibiotic-resistant bacterial infections (EURESTOP). The latest research results on overcoming antimicrobial resistance were presented at the meeting. 

“The first working group meeting took place, and during the roundtable discussion, we reviewed the ongoing activities related to data collection and sharing of results, as well as future actions," noted Associate Professor Maia Okujava.
