On July 10-13, 2024, Dr. Eli Magen, Honorary Doctor of Tbilisi State Medical University and Professor of Ben-Gurion University (Israel) conducted classes for the 8th semester students of the Georgian language program for Medical Doctors at the Faculty of Medicine in the elective subject Dermatology and Allergology. 

On July 12, Professor Eli Magen met with Professor Irakli Natroshvili Rector of Tbilisi State Medical University, Professor Rusudan Rukhadze Vice Rector of Tbilisi State Medical University, Professor Tinatin Chikovani Rector's Advisor and Head of the Department of Immunology, Associate Professor Nona Janikashvili Head of the Division of the International Grants and Contracts and Associate Professor Tinatin Kilasonia Head of the International Cooperation Division.

Professor Eli Magen discussed the course conducted with TSMU students, emphasizing the students' motivation and progressive outlook. He also noted that TSMU students and graduates are competitive for pursuing higher education at any leading university around the world.

Both parties highlighted the involvement of the Georgian diaspora in Israel in the academic and research activities of TSMU. Professors Eli Magen and Tinatin Chikovani also discussed the long-term and productive international collaboration of their research groups, as evidenced by joint publications and completed projects. Rector of TSMU expressed support for the initiatives initiated during the meeting.

At the end of the meeting, Professor Irakli Natroshvili presented a commemorative gift to the guest.
