G. Zhvania Pediatric Academic Clinic of Tbilisi State Medical University has been awarded international accreditation by the German auditing company "KTQ - Cooperation for Transparency and Quality in Healthcare" for its compliance with standards. The auditing company assessed the quality of services at the clinic, patient and employee oriented approach, safety, communication, management, and the risks and quality management.
At the concluding meeting, the auditors positively assessed the patient-oriented approach, noting that medical services at the clinic are provided in accordance with established protocols. The focus on employees and their selection is based on their academic qualifications. Consequently, the auditors concluded that G. Zhvania Pediatric Academic Clinic of Tbilisi State Medical University has a highly qualified staff committed to continuous education and professional development.
Regarding safety and risk management, representatives of the German auditing company expressed their admiration for the qualified management of the epidemiological division. They noted that the clinic has developed a highly advanced system for ensuring the continuity of medical supplies.
The digital medicine, information and communication management systems were also positively evaluated. According to the auditors’ evaluation, the newly implemented system features a sophisticated electronic document flow significantly enhancing the clinic's operational efficiency.
The representatives of the auditing company extended special thanks to Associate Professor Nino Tskhvediani, the General Director of TSMU Givi Zhvania Academic Pediatric Clinic for her leadership and management of the clinic.
