On September 15-17, 2024, Associate Professor Nino Korsantia Department of Odontology of Tbilisi State Medical University and Gvantsa Suntidze student of the Faculty of Stomatology participated in the International Dental Restoration Championship in restorative dentistry “Jules Allemand Trophy”, organized at the University of Chieti-Pescara Gabriele D’Annunzio (Italy).

19 international students participated in the competition from diverse European countries, including Poland, Hungary, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, Latvia, and others. During the event, participants had the opportunity to establish professional contacts and exchange valuable insights.

Within the framework of the visit, the TSMU representatives attended a lecture on artistic dental restoration by Lorenzo Vanini. The championship also included a conference where prominent professors: Camillo D'Arcangelo (Italy), Lorenzo Vanini (Italy), Paul Gherloczy (Hungary), Safa Tuncer (Turkey), Katia Jedeon (France) and others presented their reports.

Georgia has been invited to participate in next year's championship once again.
