თსსუ-ის ფარმაციის ფაკულტეტის ორმა სტუდენტმა: ლიანა ბასილაშვილმა და ანა ოქროცვარიძემ იოველ ქუთათელაძის და ეთერ ქემერტელიძის სახელობითი სტიპენდიები მიიღეს

Students of the Faculty of Pharmacy of TSMU: Liana Basilashvili and Ana Okrotsvaridze received scholarships named after Academicians Iovel Kutateladze and Eter Kemertelidze

On November 13, 2024, within the framework of the program "Attracting Young Talents in Science" initiated by the Iovel Kutateladze Institute of Pharmacochemistry of TSMU, scholarships awarding ceremony was held at Tbilisi State Medical University. Based on the decision by the Faculty of Pharmacy Council, two students of the Faculty of Pharmacy of TSMU: Liana Basilashvili and Ana Okrotsvaridze received scholarships named after Academicians Iovel Kutateladze and Eter Kemertelidze.

The event, organized by the TSMU I. Kutateladze Institute of Pharmacochemistry and the Faculty of Pharmacy of Tbilisi State Medical University, was opened by Academic Doctor of Pharmacy Malkhaz Getia, Director of the TSMU I. Kutateladze Institute of Pharmacochemistry. Professor Irakli Natrosvhili, Rector of Tbilisi State Medical University, addressed the audience, extending his congratulations and best wishes to the scholarship recipients.

“This is yet another example of how our university, along with the Institute of Pharmacochemistry, is dedicated to fostering initiatives that support and encourage our students. We will continue to promote activities that aid in their growth and active involvement in the field of science, which is of utmost importance for the advancement of our country. Congratulations to the students on this achievement,” stated Professor Irakli Natrosvhili, Rector of TSMU.

The audience was also addressed by Eter Kemertelidze, Chief Scientific Associate of the Institute of Pharmacochemistry and Academician of Georgian National Academy of Sciences.

“It is a great honor for me to establish a scholarship for students who are focused on personal and professional development. I am eager to work with them to instill both a love for the field and a deep understanding of the knowledge required for success,” said Eter Kemertelidze.

The TSMU students: Liana Basilashvili and Ana Okrotsvaridze expressed their gratitude to the Institute of Pharmacochemistry and Tbilisi State Medical University, noting that this recognition serves as an excellent motivation for young people. They emphasized that such encouraging events will inspire and stimulate future generations to contribute to the advancement of the field of pharmacy.

Professor Irakli Natriashvili and Academician Eter Kemertelidze presented the students with certificates and symbolic gifts at the end of the event.
