On November 29-30, 2024, Akaki Tsereteli State University hosted the conference - Dentistry at High Standards - Cycle II, organized by Tbilisi State Medical University, the Georgian Dental Professional Association, and the Unident Dental Clinic and Teaching-Research Center.

The two-day event included four lectures on the first day and four practical hands-on courses on the second day. The conference included interesting lectures delivered by Professor Marina Mamaladze (Mistakes and Complications in Odontology), Associate Professor Natia Nizharadze (Minimally Invasive Techniques and Fissure Sealing in Odontology), Associate Professor Nino Chipashvili (Modern Approaches and Tools in Practical Endodontics), Assistant Professor Ekaterine Beshkenadze and Doctor of Dental Medicine Manana Ustiashvili (Architectural Features of Tooth Canal Systems and Apical Foramina in the Georgian Population).

The second day featured four rotational practical sessions, led by Associate Professor Lia Sanodze (Various Methods for Using Isolation Systems - Section I), Assistant Professor Ekaterine Beshkenadze (Concepts of Anterior Tooth Restoration Using a Silicone Key - Section III), Doctor of Dental Medicine Manana Ustiashvili (Modern Approaches to Atraumatic Endodontic Preparation, Irrigation, and Obstruction - Section IV), Doctor of Dental Medicine Tea Jandjalashvili (New Classification of Periodontal and Peri-Implant Diseases and Conditions (Amsterdam 2018 Revision) - Section V).

The conference was attended by certified dentists from various regions of Georgia, students, and residents. After the lectures, the speakers answered the questions from the audience.
