Tbilisi State Medical University and the University of Liège reached an agreement on future collaboration, including participation in joint international grant competitions, student exchange programs, and the strengthening of internationalization efforts. The agreement was established during a meeting attended by Associate Professor Lasha Mskhiladze, Department of Pharmacognosy of TSMU and Head of Laboratory of Scientific Research and Practical Skills at the Faculty of Pharmacy of TSMU and the academic staff of the University of Liège.
Within the framework of the visit, Associate Professor Lasha Mskhiladze explored new teaching methods and integrated practical seminars within the master’s program "Master in Pharmacy." One of the primary objectives of his visit to Belgium was to gain insight into these innovative approaches.
Additionally, Professor Mskhiladze presented TSMU’s pharmacy faculty curricula and ongoing research activities to students and academic staff of the University of Liège.
The visit to Belgium took place from March 9 to March 15, 2025, within the framework of the ERASMUS+ program.
