Within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA171 ICM grant project, Nino Kandelaki, Erasmus+ Programs
Coordinator of Tbilisi State Medical
University visited Otto von
Guericke University Magdeburg (Germany).
The Erasmus + coordinator met with heads of
clinical departments of Magdeburg University Hospital. Discussions focused on
strengthening the integration of TSMU
students and residents into clinical and research activities. Moreover,
important meetings were held concerning internationalization
and the third mission of universities,
emphasizing universities' societal roles beyond education and research.
Nino Kandelaki evaluated meetings as of a
significant contribution in consolidating
institutional partnerships between the two universities—not only at the
strategic level but also in terms of enhancing
administrative procedures.
The Erasmus+
KA171 ICM project is being implemented based on an inter-institutional agreement between Tbilisi State Medical University and Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg.
